Australia Land Entry Marker

These are early concepts for a land entry marker for a canceled project from a client. The concept for the area would have been a whimsical city in Australia with luscious gardens,

eccentric art, repurposed relics such as a train car transformed into a food cart, and animal habitat exhibits.

1. Australia Stacked Marquee

The idea behind this concept was that the original inhabitants of the land left this unfinished piece of mixed medium sculpture that we utilized to announce a new area of tourism. The sculpture would be built to look like various metals and woods, and finished with

aboriginal patterns to tell the history of the area. The letters would be made to look like a later addition to the piece and would be set in different angles to give more dimension and movement to the piece.

3. Australia Planter Marquee

These are early concepts for a land entry marker for a canceled project from a client. The concept for the area would have been a whimsical city in Australia with luscious gardens,

eccentric art, repurposed relics such as a train car transformed into a food cart, and animal habitat exhibits.

The idea behind this entry marker was that it would look like a vertical garden wall from the front as a photo opportunity for guests, but it would function as seating as well.

4. Australia - Logo and Marquee Concept Sketches

These are early ideas for a logo for the land.

These concepts were modeled in SketchUp to show a better explanation of the guest perspectives.
